Monika von König

Not much is know about the Königs family before their rise to power after the death of Otto Von Bismarck, a trusted friend. Bismarck handed power to the Königs head, Muller von König, a former weaponsmith turned-military general.

Monika is only the second of the Königs to hold power in the German Empire and was expected to be the last.

Monika's mother, who's maiden name was Anna Schmidt, married Monika's father, Karl von König.

Karl held the title of Kaiser for 23 years before being killed by a traitor. In his administration the agriculture industry in the German Empire improved. He funded more into weapons research for the military, and approved some of the projects himself. He expanded the lands to include the Netherlands, and had plans to expand into Belgium but his life was cut short before then.

His policies were light on the people, taxing them at a more affordable amount. This worsened the economy, therefore the plan to invade the Netherlands was born.

Among his other policies were to let women be conscripted into the German Army. Because of this, the army size grew quickly.

His most opposed policy was letting his daughter be the Kaiser. Everybody doubted the skill of young Monika, but she later gained the support of the people in the beginning of her rule.
